In the beginning….

Stamford Singers was formed in October 2007 and its inaugural concert was given in the magnificent surroundings of Haasdonk Church, Belgium later that month. The choir, together with its conductor Paul White and organist David Lovell Brown, was there at the invitation of Kalison, a professional brass ensemble, with whom it shared the concert platform.

Stamford Singers was re-united with Kalison in March 2008 when it performed its first UK concert in Fotheringhay Church.

10 November 2010 - Harlaxton Manor - concert

14 November 2010 - Services in Cropredy and at Wadham College

27 November 2010 - Birmingham Cathedral - Evensong

27 February 2011 - Leicester Cathedral - services

12 March 2011 - Church of St Peter and St Paul, Great Casterton - concert

29 May 2011 - Derby Cathedral - services

28 August 2011 - Liverpool  Cathedral - services

14/15 April 2012 - Lichfield Cathedral - services

 

The choir is also looking to travel to Italy, Belgium, France and Ireland.
